21 Perceptions

One day into being officially legal. Yes, the awesome author just turned 21 yesterday; 6 of August. Kindly remember the date as you can never have Facebook reminding you. So this day next year, you know what to do. Haha!

But don’t get me wrong, this post is not a  blow by blow account on how did I celebrated my 21st like what I’d usually have in a Michelicious story. Yes, I’m sure it’s not.

Well, we had a small gathering at my house last Saturday, an early celebration. Just invited close relatives and some friends, right after cleaning up, crashed a friend’s farewell party. And then yesterday(matter of fact: it was just now because I haven’t sleep so it’s still 6 of August in my context) went to this water park and had the Vuvuzela ride like thrice. They were so in love with it and couldn’t help it.

A summary more or less? Haha. Yes, we will leave it at that.

“We’ve grown too old to find Sunway Lagoon interesting.”

“We’ve grown too old” Has been repeated countless time the whole day throughout our time spent at the water park.

And so, I came to realize that how much everyone has grown out of being their old teensy whinny self. And how my perceptions about so many things have changed. I can’t point out how much different I’ve grown to become throughout all these time, but it has become obvious enough for me to feel, oh .. I wasn’t like that last time.

Thus, the title of this post; 21 perceptions.

Actually before this, I was thinking about 21 random facts about me or something like that, a blog post dedicated as a mark being officially legal. But after talking to my friend and all, I’ve decided that perceptions would fit what I want nicely. I will cough up 21 posts on 21 issues. And the posts will feed on my perception towards a particular issue or rather topic.

It could be something random, it could be something personal, but whatever it is, it’d be about what my thoughts are on certain things. Because 3 or 5 years from now, I’d like to come back and see how much different a person I’ve become. And it’d be a gift to my future self. As for you readers, I don’t know, haha, the author is here, solely for your entertainment. 😉

Truth be told, I hope I would upkeep this 21 posts. So you will be my witness, I hereby grant you the permission to kick my ass if I couldn’t make it. Perhaps, by the time I finish my last post, I would have develop the habit of constant updating post in my blog again.

Ahah! It’s a deal, people. 🙂
